// The Other Side of the Story

You’ll remember that I wrote about a driver who allegedly slammed on his brakes in front of two cyclists in an attempt to purposely injure them.
Well, now the driver is telling his story–in court. The LA Times has a piece about the driver’s side of the story. It reminds me of a quote I heard during the Packers/Vikings game on Sunday (which I believe was a quote from Harry Caray): “There are three sides to every story. Your side, my side, and the truth.”
That’s right. I get my inspirational/deep thinking quotes from football announcers. Deal with it.
Anyway, I don’t have too much to say about it, other than that it’s good to hear all perspectives. I’m still generally upset that this guy didn’t think that slamming on his brakes would hurt the cyclists. Even if he didn’t try to injure them on purpose, he should have known that his actions were likely to result in their injury. I’ll let you read the LA Times story and judge for yourself.
